About the Artist
Contact, flow, live, repeat.
These are the words I not only try to live by, but I try to create by, as well. When I decide to paint, there’s nothing more exciting or terrifying as that first contact of ink to canvas. After I take that first plunge, I let the flow and movement evolve as I discover my painting and discover a bit more of myself. Each new drop, swipe, and flow brings joy and more anticipation until I lay everything down at the end of the day, just to wake up and do it all over again.
WHO AM I?
As a self-taught mixed media artist, I began my artistic journey in 2019 with a 365-Days-of-Art project creating a new alcohol ink painting for each day of the year. In 2020 I continued my painting and transitioned to challenging myself with larger paintings. I love working with alcohol inks and the fluidity of acrylic pouring. Working in abstract, I strive to find movement in every piece as I am inspired by the smooth flow of wind, water, and natural landscapes.
